Our Founder

Dr. Koffa is the co-founder and Executive Director of the Africa Environmental Watch (AEW), formerly the Liberia Environmental Watch (LEW) since 2004. Dr. Koffa, is a Disaster and Emergency Management practitioner, and an Environmental Engineer by profession with over 20 years of working experience in the field of engineering. Dr. Koffa has a background in Civil & Construction Engineering, Environmental Management & Public Policy Administration. Dr. Koffa currently works as an Environmental Engineer with the District Department of Energy (DDOEE), Government of the District of Columbia, Washington, DC, since 1999.
